I started learning again. I took English, Spanish, and Japanese lessons. I made a promise to exercise, no matter how busy life got. I started educating myself about money. I even took a nail salon class so I could learn to do my own nails 💅

For the first time in a long time, I wasn’t doing these things for anyone else. I was doing them for me.

And then something unexpected happened.

そして今年、自分自身に投資してみようと決めました。もう一度、「学ぶこと」「インプット」「自己改善」を始めたんです。

英語、スペイン語、日本語を勉強して、どんなに忙しくても運動だけは続けると決めました。お金の勉強も始めたし、自分でネイルを直せるようになりたくてネイルスクールにも通いました💅

お誘いも断って自分自身を優先しました。

すると、不思議なことが起き始めたんです。

Just like DJing, I loved creating something that brought people together. But once again, I found myself giving everything to something outside of me😂 Eventually, I burned out.

That’s when I realized this wasn’t just about music or restaurants.

For years, I’d been building things for other people to enjoy, solving other people’s problems, and helping bring other people’s visions to life.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot to ask myself what I wanted to create.

そしてDJの仕事でメキシコへ行き、今度はタコスに恋をしました。仕事で行ったはずなのに、人生の方向まで変わってしまいました。（恋に落ちるって、こういうことなのか！？）

気づけばお店をオープンし、9年間、スタッフやお客様に喜んでもらうことを一番に考えてきました。

DJもお店も、人が集まる場所をつくることが大好きでした。でもまた同じように、自分以外の誰かのために、持っているものを全部注いでいました😂

そして、とうとう燃え尽きて、その時に気づいたんです。

これは音楽の問題でも、レストランの問題でもなかった。

私はずっと、誰かが喜ぶものを作って、誰かの悩みを解決して、誰かの夢を支えることに夢中になっていました。その一方で、「私は何を作りたいんだろう？」と、自分に問いかけることを、いつの間にか忘れていたんです。
