Have you ever received a message that completely stops you in your tracks? Not because it was dramatic, not because it changed your life overnight, but because it reminded you of something you'd forgotten about yourself.

That happened to me this week.

I received a message that really made me stop and reflect. 

It came from a vendor I had worked with a few years ago during my time at TouchNet and we recently reconnected on LinkedIn. Even though we haven’t worked together closely in a couple years this is what he wrote:

“I have had a chance to meet a lot of TouchNet folks and they all sing your praises in a way that’s really genuine. You really make an impact on the people you meet.”

I really sat with those words for a while.

I didn't pause because someone complimented me...

I paused because it felt like someone held up a mirror...

...and for the first time in a long time, I could see myself clearly.
