It’s really that stark. Amendment 5 asks voters to repeal their state income tax and phase in other, unspecified taxes to cover the lost revenue. The current state income tax rate is 4 percent on corporations and a maximum of 4.7 percent on personal income above $9,191.00.

Missouri parent and organizer Sierra Kilpatrick joined Donna Schwartz Mills and I on a Substack Live so Kilpatrick could explain the draconian consequences of this amendment’s passage.
