June 2025 was the month I closed on my first home. It was also the month I was laid off. Around that same season, God began bringing long-buried pain to the surface — childhood wounds, overachievement, hidden patterns, false stability, and the parts of myself I had spent years avoiding.

This is a story about healing, release, obedience, therapy, church community, Add Reach, and learning to rebuild my life with God as my foundation.

I was trying to bring Egypt into Israel.

And God was like, no. We’re not doing that.
