I have always been fascinated by the biographies of people in entertainment. They often provide wisdom, joy and help to inspire, especially for those seeking to follow in their footsteps. After spending decades of performing all over the Caribbean, Europe, the United States and my home country, Canada, I thought the world should learn the names, faces and stories of our diverse talent.

I love talking to people, so borrowing from the award-winning American talkshow, Inside the Actors Studio, join me and my guests as we explore what it's like to be 'different' in Canada's entertainment industry. While reflecting on their journeys, listen to the challenges, rejoice in the successes and note the philosophies that drive some of Canada's notable talent, who just so happen to (ALSO) be members of the Global Majority.

starrdomingue.substack.com

STARR DOMINGUE

STARR DOMINGUE

en

starrdomingue@gmail.com
<itunes:new-feed-url>https://api.substack.com/feed/podcast/8437217.rss</itunes:new-feed-url><itunes:author>STARR DOMINGUE</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>My personal Substack</itunes:subtitle><itunes:type>episodic</itunes:type><itunes:owner><itunes:name>STARR DOMINGUE</itunes:name><itunes:email>starrdomingue@gmail.com</itunes:email></itunes:owner><itunes:explicit>No</itunes:explicit><itunes:category text="Arts"><itunes:category text="Performing Arts"/></itunes:category><itunes:category text="Society & Culture"/><itunes:image href="https://substackcdn.com/feed/podcast/8437217/d8312d15f769712604206f912791a42f.jpg"/>

The Blacktor's Studio

Alexis Gordon is an award winning actor, singer, director & educator.Selected credits include Guys & Dolls - The Stratford Festival, Brigadoon – The Shaw Festival, Room - Mirvish, Harry Potter & the Cursed Child - Broadway.
