We begin with the infamous Facebook “FIEFDOM” controversy. Jeffrey and Kathi then discuss an incident while driving and how it ruined their date night, but God used it to teach a profound lesson about justice. They also tell about the time they were scheduled to minister together, got in a terrible fight on the way to the event, and decided to invite the people into their process of working it out.

Finally, Kathi wonders aloud how Jeff can get water everywhere just walking into the kitchen.

We spend time introducing ourselves and talking about our children and grandchildren.

We discuss the importance of stories as they help illustrate the truth of God in our lives. Stories in themselves are not "THE truth," but they tell of the one who is Truth. God writes His stories through our lives.

Kathi once again asks Jeff "What is wrong with you?"

They tell stories of times in their lives when their best efforts fell short of being able to accomplish what they wanted to see in their lives, but through all the turmoil and failure, God has been glorified and caused His goodness to prevail.

God walks with us in our pain, to enable us to learn to overcome when we cooperate with Him. We don't become victorious by ignoring the pain in our lives.
