Step 1: Releasing your plan

Begin by acknowledging the weight you have been carrying—the effort spent trying to prove you know what to do, and know how to do it, that your own, personal plans are worth striving for.

“There is one way, and only one, to be released from the imprisonment your plan to prove the false is true has brought to you.”

Visualize that rigid, self-made plan as a heavy coat you’ve been wearing. Feel the strain it puts on your spirit. Now, visualize yourself unbuttoning it and letting it slip to the floor. You are not required to hold it anymore.

There is already a Plan and it is working so well. Accept this Plan instead of the one you made. You do not need to judge your value to this new, greater plan; you simply need to rest in the fact that it is there for you and is safe and secure.

Step 2: The Humility of Strength

Shift your attention inward to that quiet voice that resides within. It does not know lack or limitation or any of the things that have occupied your mind. It asks only for your humility.

“The humble are free to hear the Voice Which tells them what they are and what to do.”

Remind yourself: You are not the fragile image you have upheld to the world. That image is the only thing that fears the truth—because the truth reveals that the image is not real. Nothing is lost by letting it go. It has no authority over the holy Son of God that you truly are.

Step 3: Recognizing Your True Nature

As the image of your “small self” fades, acknowledge your real strength. Say within yourself:

* I am not weak, but strong

* I am not ignorant, I want peace

* I am not helpless, I have all power

Feel the truth of your holiness. Sin cannot touch you; misery cannot come near the home where God resides. You are safe.

The salvation of the world depends on you. The self you made was this shifting, moody, fragile figure you played in the world of illusions. You have no need to value it any more

Step 4: Finding Lasting Peace

Finally, let go of the “thousand shifts in mood.” Recognize that your changing emotions—the mourning, the weeping, the desperate reaching for ecstatic highs—were only markers of a role you were playing.

“And so we find our peace. We will accept the function God has given us.”

Sit for a moment in the silence that remains when the drama is removed. Rest in the assurance and in the peace of being exactly who you were created to be. Wholly loved, wholly loving and wholly lovable….

Rest here, in this stillness, for as long as you need.

The word ‘God’ isn’t God, I don’t have to tell you that. The word ‘God’ symbolizes or refers to an idea ‘God’. All words are symbols. The words never convey exactly what they actually mean. They symbolize meaning. This asks for more discovery.

In the video we introduce a pathway in three phases, to experience a world beyond all symbols and words you have learned so far. You studied using and getting familiar with so many ideas and aspects of ideas. In essence what you have learned was taught to support and grow an idea of a separate, ‘autonomous’ identity. A human being in a world of objects and billions of things with a separate name.

Today you are invited to see this in a whole and different way. With great support. A unified universe is supporting you. To discover the world beyond these symbols and names.

* Phase 2: Practicing the Unified Identity

* Phase 3: Prayer : “Our Name Is Yours”

The first two phases speak more or less, for themselves. Listen and watch the video and you know what I mean.

The third phase is the prayer. Here is the text, directly from lesson 184 “The Name Of God Is My Inheritance” of A Course in Miracles.

“Father, our Name is Yours. In It we are united with all

living things, and You Who are their One Creator. What we made

and call by many different names is but a shadow we have tried to

cast across Your Own Reality. And we are glad and thankful we

were wrong. All our mistakes we give to you, that we may be absolved

of all effects our errors seemed to have. And we accept the

truth You give in place of every one of them. Your Name is our salvation

and escape from what we made. Your Name unites us in the

Oneness which is our inheritance and peace.

Amen.
