Books-Two Events: Wellbeing. Values

In this week’s program I reflect on two very different events I attended on February 28 confirming the importance of similar values for our wellbeing. The first from 8:15 to 5 was the NeuroEdu Conference highlighting the values of kindness and compassion. The second from 6 to 8 was the funeral of attorney José Luis Ramirez Irizarry who devoted his entire 43 year professional career to the Economic Development Administration (Fomento). He was. General Counsel under very diverse administrations when over 36 years we negotiated with my very diverse clients thousands of tax and tax exemption issues. He was extremely competent, and yet always humble, responsive and kind. He was a good example of what the speakers at the NeuroEdu Conference earlier that day were telling us. He exuded wellbeing.

This is a public episode.
