In the first episode of The Survivor’s Edit Podcast, I’m introducing the Survival Gap, an idea I’ve been pondering for a long time. It’s the space between getting through something and figuring out what life looks like in the after.

Cancer made me recognize it, but it also made me realize it wasn’t my first experience with survival. And my guess is, it probably isn’t yours either.
