I stopped trying to fix myself and I started walking.

I noticed how my breath and my brain calmed the moment I began.

How my body softened when my feet hit the ground.

How something inside me sighed with relief when I let the earth carry my weight instead of holding it all on my own.

I wrote this poem for others going through a rocky season to remind you that you are supported and loved, right where you are.

Rooted in Radiance

Feel the earth beneath you, solid and strong,

Inside her loving arms, where your heart belongs.

The shaking has stopped; the storm has passed through,

Mother Nature is here, waiting patiently for you.

No longer at the mercy of chaos or fear,

You are rooted in love, you are anchored right here.

There is nothing more you have to do or be,

Just breathe, and let the weight fall free.

♡

From your mind, from your body, let it all go,

Down to the ground, into the Earth below.

What lives beneath you, will hold you with care,

And restore the parts of you left broken and bare.

♡

You do not have to earn this love so sweet,

It is given to you freely while you sleep.

You are her child, her heart, her home,

Woven from the same Spark she has sown.

♡

Her Air is your breath, rising soft and slow,

Like wind through the trees where the wild things grow

Her Water is your blood, carving canyons wide,

Her Stones are your bones where strength resides.

♡

Her Fire is your spirit, the sun’s radiant heat,

Moving through you to make your life complete.

The rose does not struggle to reach for the light,

She only stays still, rooted deep in the night.

♡

She trusts in the sun to pour through her being,

And that is the truth your soul is seeing.

Feel as your body, your skin, and your glow,

Begin to rejuvenate with her heavenly flow.

♡

Every inch of you starts to awaken anew,

Your whole world blooming in a beautiful hue.

You no longer apologize for taking up space,

You stop questioning your right to this holy place.

♡

The part of you that doubts “Will I be okay?”

Is replaced by a trust that grows stronger each day.

I am supported. I am welcome. I am held by love.

Inside this present moment, I know I am enough.

♡

The fire you walked through was never here to stay,

It only came to prove your ground will never give way.

You are not the wreckage. You are the Spark inside,

Rooted, strong, and steady — where true love abides.

♡

The fight is over. You have permission to rest.

To let the rose rise from her sacred nest.

You are whole, you are worthy, you are right on time

Breathing as one with the Earth Divine.

I felt the entire earth crumble beneath my feet.

Why did this happen? Why does it hurt so bad? Why God, why me?

And I kept falling… all the way down to the very bottom.

There were moments I didn’t think I would make it out.

Moments I didn’t know how I would get up.

How I would ever find happiness again.

But day by day,

with Love by my side,

I did.

I wrote this for the woman whose whole life got struck by lightning, and she’s alone in the dark, without a light or way out.

The Light in Her

Have you ever had a moment when the world goes totally dark?

When something hits out of the blue and leaves a jagged mark?

A loss, a breakup, a call you never thought would arrive,

When something deep inside you forgot how to survive.

♡

You ask the question every broken heart has known:

“Why did this happen? God, why am I alone?”

Maybe you feel like a flower that has lost her only sun,

Fallen into the shadows, feeling empty and undone.

♡

But my sweet soul, you are never alone,

Even in the deepest pain, Love has already made a home.

A rose cannot bloom until it’s buried in the ground,

The seed must start in darkness for its true light to be found.

♡

When the voice whispers low, saying “Just give up,”

“Pour another drink, just fill the cup.”

When it says “What’s the point?” and the anger starts to roar,

Gently whisper back: “I’m not that anymore.”

♡

Say, “This isn’t who I am, it’s what I’m ready to release,

I give this to the light, and I find my peace.”

You’re allowed to be scared, you’re allowed to cry,

Safe to let the tears fall from your eye.

♡

There’s no rush to heal, no strength to prove,

No need to justify, nothing to move.

You are safe to rest, safe to let go,

Safe to trust the river as it starts to flow.

♡

That sparkle inside? It can never go out,

It’s the answer to your fear and the cure for your doubt.

Today you chose your light, and your light chose you too,

To love, to become, and to see this through.

♡

The rainbow you dream of,that you think is far?

Reserved only for fairy tales, or another person’s star.

It’s not someone else’s, it was written in your name.

You’re the reason for the promise,you are the sacred flame.

♡

Don’t let the world tell you, your longing is too much.

The desires in your heart arethe fingerprint of God’s touch.

Even when you can’t see, through the rain pouring down,

the sun is shining inside you, wearing love like a crown.

♡

Just like the rose, you hold the original seed, the original Spark.

Your compass through the tunnel, your candle in the dark,

Your clarity, your center, your one unshaken home.

You were never truly lost. You were never left alone.

♡

The storm is passing over, the Rose begins to rise,

The rainbow is already yours, beneath these healing skies.

So take this truth, and let it burn bright…

You have been filled with the One Holy Light.
