In this episode, I share a “rant” recorded during a night walk where I address the fallout from those comments. Beyond the personal insults, I want to look at the broader anthropological implications of this language. Creating labels and normalizing slurs is a classic move by authoritarians to take away the agency of those who criticize them. It is a way to discredit an opinion without having to actually refute the evidence provided.

I regularly engage with stats, facts, and constitutional evidence. I invite anyone who disagrees with my perspective to come out and refute the evidence I provide. But as I discuss here, the current trend of using derogatory statements and “bold faith lies” is a dangerous step toward suppressing the very free speech that allows our republic to function.
