This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and now I’m finally able to share it with you. An audio version of my piece on living with suicidal ideation and finding hope and solidarity, “I’m Not Supposed To Be Here,” originally posted here on Rants Rants Rev on March 31, 2021. Some of the things discussed here have evolved a bit, such as the continued unfolding of the pandemic and my ongoing uncoupling from my maleness in recent years.

But the foundation remains: You’re not alone and we can get through even the worst of these feelings together. It can and does get better.

In the future, most if not all audio posts will be exclusively for my paid subscriber homies (and my free trial friends!), but I’m throwing this one up in its entirety for free for folks to listen to and share with anyone who may be struggling.
