Bob Gibson, fresh off a Cy Young and MVP season took the mound against Mickey Lolich. The Tigers had battled back from a 3 games to 1 deficit to tie the series. Gibson was starting his second game seven in two seasons after beating the Red Sox in 1967. This retelling includes the complete play by play broadcast of the game and a dramatic story involving fictional announcers Frank Harrison (Josh Gross) and Michael ‘Mike’ Sterling (Peter Snow).
