With Imran Siddiqui

Liminal with Imran Siddiqui - The Podcast Where Music, Art, Technology, and Truth Converge. Explicit Language Warning.
The Truth May Piss You off But that won't Change the Truth. No matter how you look at it, the truth will always remain consistently obvious. We choose to ignore it.

Imran Siddiqui is a seasoned content producer whose work spans three decades across music, media, technology, and social impact. Imran's newest project: Liminal with Imran Siddiqui is a podcast that is more than just music or a series of conversations—it’s a portal into the spaces where lies hide and the truths meet, where there are no boundaries except the ones that do not require to be crossed.

At its core, Liminal explores the thresholds between truth and bullshit, facade and reality, known and the unknown, the obvious and the unseen, disciplines, ideas, and experiences through the lens of music. The word “liminal” itself means a threshold or in-between state—a fitting metaphor for a show that thrives on the intersections of creativity and technology, between the now and what is to come. Each episode invites listeners into a space where music, art, technology, and truth don’t just coexist—they converge, clash, and merge to show the true meaning.

What sets Liminal apart is its scope. In a single season, listeners may find themselves immersed in the soulful language of music, the evolving landscapes of digital technology, the urgency of social justice, or the transformative power of art and culture. For Imran, these themes aren’t separate—they are part of the same ecosystem of human experience.
"I’ve always believed that reality and the truth should not be confined to cultural silos," says Imran. "Liminal is about exploring the connections—where sound meets story, where technology meets humanity, and where truth challenges us to grow."

With his unique song writing, music, voice, global perspective, and decades of experience spanning projects like OfThera, Global Crossover, The Peaceful American, Justice News, Constellic, and more, Imran brings authenticity and depth to every conversation.

Liminal with Imran Siddiqui isn’t just a multimedia podcast. It’s an exploration of the spaces between certainty and discovery, between the familiar and the unknown. It’s a reminder that some of the most profound insights emerge not at the destination, but in the passage—the liminal space.

The podcast is available on all major streaming platforms, and new episodes will be announced through Imran.Media—the central hub for Imran’s music, media, and creative ventures.

107digital.substack.com

Imran Siddiqui

Imran Siddiqui

en

107digital@substack.com
<itunes:new-feed-url>https://api.substack.com/feed/podcast/6495141.rss</itunes:new-feed-url><itunes:author>Imran Siddiqui</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Liminal with Imran Siddiqui - The Podcast Where Music, Art, Technology, and Truth Converge.</itunes:subtitle><itunes:type>episodic</itunes:type><itunes:owner><itunes:name>Imran Siddiqui</itunes:name><itunes:email>107digital@substack.com</itunes:email></itunes:owner><itunes:explicit>No</itunes:explicit><itunes:category text="Music"/><itunes:category text="Music"><itunes:category text="Music Commentary"/></itunes:category><itunes:image href="https://substackcdn.com/feed/podcast/6495141/4a4191d7b8a0c73ad46bcae21e05f034.jpg"/>

Knock Knock — Your Email is Your Phone Number

With name of the God, the Almighty, the Merciful.

I want to tell you about a product we built. Not because I am a consumer of this technology — though it works beautifully — but because of what it means.

My father lives in Karachi. I live near DC. The distance between us is over 7,400 miles and an ocean. But the real distance — the friction — is what it takes to simply talk. The scheduling. The “can you hear me?” The apps that require both of us to have accounts, demanding for my number when the app really doesn’t need it to function, be on the same platform, download something, agree to terms, invasion of privacy, constant hard sell, push to upgrade or intrusive ads masked as helpful prompts.

What if I could just knock on my dad’s door? Like I did back in Karachi. And what if he could do the same. Why being in DC, in today’s age, would make it so difficult for me to speak to my father?

That moment became Knock Knock.

What is Knock Knock?

Knock Knock is an internet-native calling app where your email address is your phone number.

No phone number. No downloads. No app stores. No telecom company. No carrier. No SIM card. No permission from Apple, Google, AT&T, or any government.

You go to knockknock.email You sign in with your email. You type the email of the person you want to call. You hit Knock. Their screen lights up. They answer. You are connected — HD audio, encrypted, peer-to-peer — from anywhere in the world.

The person you’re calling doesn’t even need an account. They get an email link. They click it. They’re in the call.

That’s it. That is the entire product.

The Concept

Knocking on someone’s door is a basic human right.

Anyone can walk up to a door and ring the bell in good will - except for unwanted solicitation or spam. You don’t need permission. Like I do with my neighbor. You don’t need an account. You don’t need a subscription. You just knock.

The internet was supposed to make human connection cheaper, faster, and more open. In many ways it has. But phone calls — actually talking to someone — is still controlled by telecoms who charge by the minute, by app companies who require both parties to download their software, and by platforms that sell your data or show you ads.

Email exists everywhere. Everyone has one. It is the one identity on the internet that truly belongs to you — not to a platform, not to a carrier, not to a country. Knock Knock asks: what if that was enough?

Built in 72 Hours

I started building Knock Knock at 2:11 AM on March 19, 2026.

The first working call happened 72 hours later — March 22, 2026. 9 minutes of HD audio, Firefox mobile to Edge desktop. Confirmed working. Launched on March 25, 2026.

I am not a coder. I am a builder. I know what I want to build, I know why it matters, and I know how to communicate that clearly enough that good tools can help me realize it.

One founder. One idea. 72 hours. Zero permission from anyone.

What Knock Knock Does Today

As of today, March 25, 2026, Knock Knock is live at knockknock.email with:

→ HD audio calls — free, encrypted, peer-to-peer

→ Your email is your phone number — no sign-up friction for the person you’re calling. You can sign up and add contacts.

→ Your own door link — share knockknock.email/door/yourname so anyone can reach you

→ Messaging — send and receive text messages when a call can’t connect

→ Call history and contacts, with message tracking.

→ A doorbell sound when someone knocks — gentle, warm, impossible to miss

→ Leave a message when a call goes unanswered

→ Works on any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Edge

→ Free tier: 60 minutes per month at no cost, no card required

→ Pro plan: $5/month for unlimited calls

Who Is This For?

Everyone who has ever wanted to call someone without asking them to install something first.

The parent in Karachi whose son is in Virginia. The freelancer who wants to call a client without giving out a personal number. The teacher who wants to reach a student. The friend. The colleague. The human being on the other side of the world who just needs to hear a voice. A company that wants to save a lot of money and be good to themselves and their employees.

If you have an email address, then you have a phone number. And so does everyone you know.

What’s Coming

This is version 1.0. We are just getting started.

Coming soon: video calls, a Knock Browser that works on iOS and Android, a browser extension that puts a Knock button on every email address you see, and a public directory so people can be found by anyone.

The long-term vision is simpler. Knock Knock is the first product in a suite of internet-native communication tools being built under Global Crossover — tools that are free from telecom monopolies, platform gatekeepers, and geographic borders. Just as your God given human rights.

Try It. Right Now.

Go to knockknock.email

Sign up free or sign in with your email. No password. No app. No credit card.

Then knock someone. Anyone. Type their email and hit the button.

Here is my door address - https://knockknock.email/door/imran

If this resonates with you — share it. Tell someone. Put your door link in your email signature. The product grows one knock at a time.

If wishes the God.

Peace -

— Imran Siddiqui, Global Crossover

This is a public episode. I am here to challenge that narrative. Raising a child is not a project to be managed; it is a serious, God given, non-transferable duty.

The Danger of the “Outsourced” Childhood

When we outsource parenting—to endless screen time, overworked childcare systems, or a rotating door of strangers—we aren’t just buying time. We are gambling with our children’s safety and emotional foundation.

“Outsourcing” is dangerous because it creates a vacuum where a parent’s care and presence should be. No one will be more beneficial to your child’s heart, mind, or body with the sincerity that you will. When we step away, we leave them vulnerable to influences that do not share our values, our concerns or our love.

A Radical Core Principle

I realize that my core principles may be jarring to some, but it is the pillar upon which this short manual stands: If you cannot—or will not—take care of your children yourself, do not have them. Parenting is a responsibility given specifically to you. It is not an accessory to a lifestyle; it is the lifestyle. If the requirements of your career or your social life demand that you be an absentee figure in your own home, then the math of your life is fundamentally broken.

Being “There” While Working

This book is a practical resource for the parent who chooses a different path. It is possible to fulfill your professional duties without sacrificing your children’s well-being. Parents in the Present provides the roadmap for:

* Integrated Protection: How to create a “perimeter” around your children even during work hours.

* Presence Over Proximity: Practical strategies to ensure that when you are home, you are mentally and emotionally tethered to your children.

* The Responsibility Shift: Moving away from a “service-provider” mindset and back into the role of the primary nurturer and guardian.

Your children don’t need the things your money can buy nearly as much as they need the person only you can be.

You asked for it, now take care of it, before you regret that you did not when you had the time to do so. It’s time to stop outsourcing one of the most important “jobs” you’ll ever have.

Seek guidance of the God, the One Who created them and you, maybe He will show you a better way to work and make your stupid money from home, or from anywhere else, then you won’t have any excuse left to leave your kid home alone with some strangers.

Parents in the Present - Responsible Parenting - https://a.co/d/4AsqgZu -

                                     Peace Not Wars - peacenotwars.com

This is a public episode.
