The air suddenly became heavy,

The birds stopped singing.

And the world around them changed….

The woman’s names were Charlotte Ann Moberly and Elenore Jourdain. I will be doing a full story on their experience soon!!

I want to know if anyone has seen this before. At first I was thinking it could be fake, but the more I watched it and dove down the rabbit hole, I discovered more videos in the same location claiming to be the same day. So creepy and interesting.

Meet Grýla — the ancient troll woman with an ear for misbehaving children and a cauldron big enough to cook them in. Long before Krampus became a pop-culture icon, Grýla was terrifying Icelandic families with her hunger, her temper, and her enormous bag for scooping up naughty kids.

But Grýla doesn’t work alone.

She’s part of an entire monster family that emerges every December:

👣 The 13 Yule Lads — chaotic, mischievous pranksters who sneak into town one night at a time, each with their own bizarre specialty.

🐈‍⬛ The Yule Cat — a massive, man-eating feline that devours anyone who doesn’t receive new clothes for Christmas.

In this episode, we dive into the origins of Grýla — from medieval Icelandic sagas to the strict winter folklore that shaped her into a Christmas monster.
