As two “midshelf” authors ourselves, we understand the grind of self-promotion despite a quality product. Our goal with this podcast is to highlight books we love by authors who may not yet have the exposure they deserve or who at least remember the day when that was the case.

Midshelf is also our ever present and growing TBR lists, from which we continue to grab books from the middle, never lowering the overall amount.

Midshelf is where we are in life. No longer the promising 30 and under authors, but also not the where have you been all your life debuts. We are middle aged writers who just love to read and write and have been lucky enough to have our work see the light of day at one point or another.

So join two midshelf authors (who happen to be cousins) for an hour or so of book talk, a couple theme-based cocktails, and some rabbit holes into our love of writing and reading and the people who do those things with passion regardless of the outcome.

You might just discover your new favorite author in the process.

Music Credits for E1

Theme Song: Jay McPherson

Sound Effects: Pixabay

Music credit: Lobby Time by Kevin MacLeod | https://incompetech.com/

Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/

Creative Commons Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Thanks for reading!
