The leaders and inspirations are usually from people who can make mistakes and do things wrong. The difference is, when these people know that they can act in monstrous ways, but they control it on a day to day basis in order to be a good moral person - that’s when the true hero comes in. Being able to harness a monstrous edge to us, whether that’s aggression, speaking with conviction or just being radically truthful, we stop those from taking advantage of us. We call out the evil and wrongdoings of the world and be resilient in trying to instil what’s good and morally right.

In this episode, I use real world examples of controlled monsters to show just why they are the heroes we believe them to be. I also give 3 ways we can look to embody a more controlled monster aspect in our own lives.

This is a public episode. I got here by luck. I don’t deserve to be in the position i’m in. These are all thoughts that I deal with on a daily basis with imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome can affect any of us. At any given time in any given situation. It’s something that can cause us to act differently, think differently and feel differently about ourselves.

Never has my imposter syndrome been called into question more than ever than building WellEasy and in this episode, I share some thoughts from my personal diary about how I work with it.

This is a very personal episode where if anything, I may share too much. But I hope it helps you try to identify where imposter syndrome may feature in your life and how to work with it rather than against it…

This is a public episode. Is it just the journalling, gratitude and mindfulness type stuff we see influencers doing on Instagram everyday, or is it something more?

In this episode, I break down my two definitions for self-awareness and how I work everyday to try and improve on them myself. Our overall sense of self-worth and value. I’m sure you can relate to that one person you know who just seems to be super confident in the things they do. Well that person wasn’t me, but I’ve spent the last few years thinking how we can achieve that level of confidence.

Our self-esteem is improved by unlearning the negative stories we tell ourselves and re-learning new stories through pushing our boundaries, overcoming challenges, and proving to our brains that we are capable of things.

It seems simple when we say it like that, but it does take a lot of conscious time, energy, and practice.

In today’s episode i’m talking about 5 ways we can improve our own self-esteem and sharing a personal reflection of where i’ve had to learn and improve for myself.

This is a public episode. People that had the same interests and aspirations as myself. But I soon realised, it’s always better to be interested in other people. We’ve got two ears and one mouth so that we listen more than we speak.

Showing an interest in other people goes beyond just learning from them. You give someone else the chance to express how they feel and show that you are someone the can listen. In this episode I break down the four key reasons I believe we should always be interested in what others have to say.

If you have any topics or ideas for the show, or things you’d find interesting for me to discuss, email me at sonny@welleasy.co.uk

This is a public episode. They’d start something new or learn a new trick on their skateboard. At university, they’d start a business or podcast, or setup a new society around something they felt passionate about. In a world where everyone is full of awesome ideas, I was always wondering why some came to life and some didn’t.

In this episode, I break down 5 of the traits i’ve seen in people around me that are ‘doers.’ They have either pushed themselves to do something new - learn a language, build a business, run a marathon. By no means are these the only 5 traits but this is just 5 i’ve seen and have tried to embody in myself.

If you enjoy this extract from my diary, then please feel free to share it with someone else. It’s an open book showcasing how i’m learning and failing each and everyday!

This is a public episode.
