1. Greg Kidd runs for Congress as a Democrat

USBC co-founder and CEO Greg Kidd last week announced that he is once again running for Congress in Nevada’s second district—this time as a Democrat.

Greg is running on a platform around affordability, fair access, and economic empowerment.

An excerpt his announcement video (shared above):

I am Greg Kidd and I am running for Congress to level the playing field with honest leadership, respect for the freedoms that make this country great, and a sound, stable economy that works for everyone.

We need Fair Access to quality health care, a good education and housing people can afford.

And true economic freedom, where the table is big enough for everyone — not just the wealthy and well-connected.

2. Lila Lapanja makes the Olympic team

USBC-sponsored athlete Lila Lapanja has officially made the Olympic team, representing Slovenia at Milano Cortina 2026, which is set to begin February 6.
