This is a mural in downtown Duncan where the old growth forests all around it are being logged. The town is filled with totem poles as a tourist attraction. But it is serving another purpose too. Revolutionary Knitting Circles

Many dollars have been raised, many babies head warm at the hospital, scarves for the homeless, playground for peace. I stumbled into the coffee shop and there they were. Some of the cheeriest people I have met in Mission yet.
