don’t blame yourself

* we have a solution

None of this stops your world from spinning…out of control.

You think about how you will tell everyone.You think about finances.You think about the opportunities that were just opening.

It feels like life paused.And you paused with it.

February 2025 I received news my daughter had Stage 3 Bilateral Wilms Tumor… cancer.That was my THAT day.

When Everything Rearranges

Taking each day as it presents is easier said than done.

Do dreams live inside caring for your child?

People say:

* you will get through this

* trust in a higher power

* be strong

None of it brings immediate comfort.

Because the constant thoughts are:

* Will my child pull through?

* What happens when this is over?

* Can I go back to life as it was before?

Your business network won’t understand unless they have been there.Clients move on unless they are deeply loyal.Circles narrow.

Your dreams blend into your child’s dreams.At some point, you begin to live for them.

And the question returns at the intersection I call the in-between:

What is the feeling?

At first, it has no language.

It looks like this:

* It feels suffocating.

* It appears gray.

* It feels like constant falling.

These are catalysts.

At some point you will have to think about what happens After.

“Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled and observe the route that your attention follows.”— Neville Goddard

When Life Starts Again

Plans are the one thing you cannot hold when your child’s medical schedule leads. 🏥

Then appointments become less frequent.Hospital visits space out.Life starts to happen again.

What are you dreaming about doing, mama?

The tug says you cannot do it.It says you are neglecting your child.

So the dreams fracture.They shrink.They go quiet.

You deserve a life that holds no bounds.

Will it look different than the mother who did not live this?

Yes.

Feel every emotion that comes with that.None of them are wrong.

If Sally can work six hours with a nanny, so can you.If Jane can take a business call while older kids help, so can you.If Keisha can build income through daily videos for her family, so can you.

Who said you couldn’t?

The strategy may look different.The pace may be slower.The structure may be unconventional.

But different does not mean impossible.

No one knows how this feels unless they have walked it.The journey gives you a strength that does not translate into simple words.

I cannot promise ease.I invite you into this space to give what you are feeling language. 🤍

Motherhood Is Not the End of Dreams

The diagnosis reshaped you.

It may always feel recent.

It does not cancel:

* ambition

* creativity

* hunger

* vision

You did not lose your dreams.They evolved.

Holding that moment so tightly that it limits you later is the part that costs you.

This is not about forgetting.It is not about forced reframing.

It is:

* honoring what you felt

* pulling lessons from it

* naming it when you are ready

Some mothers build nonprofits.Some become creators.Some write books.Some build businesses.Some gather communities.

THAT day took something.What returns often looks different.

Listen to how you empower your child.Mirror those words back to yourself.

“The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.”— African Proverb

You were forged in fire. 🔥Now decide what that strength is for.

This Isn’t Healing

I don’t aim to heal.I don’t aim to fix.I don’t aim to rewrite.

There are stories like yours across the internet.Videos that bring tears.Mothers crying for many reasons.

I do not know your story.

But do you know yours?

Naming makes it real.Naming interrupts the pattern.Naming reveals the path at the intersection of the in-between.

Beyond THAT Day Retreat was born from lived experience.And from the mothers who trusted me with theirs.

Motherhood Reorientation is what happens after the noise settles.After the appointments.After the adrenaline.

It is the return to clarity.

Not autopilot.Not reaction.

Decision.

It guides strong moms to name what happened, walk through the in-between, and choose what comes next on their own terms.

And when you’re ready to stop circling the same intersection…click the highlighted text below.

→ Beyond THAT Day Retreat

With you,Cora

P.S.
