He was the founder of WGGL FM in 1968, the first FM station in the Keweenaw Peninsula and one of the earliest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He was present for the beginning of National Public Radio station and wrote his doctoral dissertation on its first four years. Dominik speaks with him about these early days of FM radio.

This intellectual degradation has happened despite the rich tradition of reason that the West has inherited from prior centuries. The intellectual life of Christendom should have continued to grow more consistently, yet has in some ways peaked prior to and during the Enlightenment and come to decline with the rise of dualistic, reductionist thought which sought to uplift reason but has instead left it with nothing to stand on.

Dominik discusses the results of this today with Joey Mayer.
