Subscribe so you don’t miss anything. </p></p><p><strong>Strategies to Combat Summer Temptation</strong></p><p>* Alternatives - load up on the mocktails/alternative bevs (spare no expense!)</p><p>* Have a goal in mind – day count or alternative goal – fitness/nutrition challenge</p><p>* Plan ahead – map out every scenario, know what you will say if asked</p><p>* Capitalize on moments of strength to combat moments of weakness</p><p>* Have an escape route/support</p><p>* Reward yourself – sweets, treat, massage, etc.</p><p>* Journaling – feelings before/after/results</p><p>Ultimately, we want to remind you that — myths and strategies aside — the goal is a more flourishing and faithful life in the Lord. </p><p>The goal is not sobriety, but a step closer to holiness.
