I’m sharing a guided immram — a shamanic-style journey — to support you in exploring the dynamics and themes of The Moon of Reconciliation. The purpose of this journey is to receive wisdom and guidance from your innermost self.

In this episode, I offer a brief introduction with some background on the journey, guidance on how and when to listen (not while driving!), and suggestions for what to do afterward to integrate the experience. From there, I’ll guide you through the journey for this cycle, inspired by The Mythic Moons of Avalon by Jhenah Telyndru.

What draws me most to the Avalonian Tradition are three core principles:

* Avalon as Inner Temple

Avalon isn’t seen as a literal island, but as a mystical realm of consciousness within — accessed through devotion, meditation, and the mists of transformation.

* Self-Sovereignty

The ability to rule one’s inner realm with integrity, wisdom, and compassion. It’s about reclaiming the power of choice, authenticity, and sacred alignment.

* The Ninefold Goddess

Not seen as beings to worship, but mirrors of initiatory stages of growth and self knowledge.

I’ve found that when we stop reaching outward for power or belonging, we begin to remember the sacred that already lives within us. For me, the path is not about worshiping goddesses or priestesses as powers outside ourselves, but recognizing their qualities as archetypal energies that exist within each of us.

This perspective may set me apart- but it also roots me more deeply in my own integrity and lived experience. It’s the difference between chasing light and becoming luminous from within.

You can listen to the guided journey below — and I’d love to hear what you experience or discover.

Here are some reflection questions to support you in integrating the wisdom you receive:

*What symbols did you receive and what do these symbols mean to you?

*What shadow or wound was revealed to you?

*In what ways is this shadow or wound manifesting in your current life?

*What can you do to release the pain of this wound so that it no longer affects your life?

*What might your life be like, who you might be, when you release what holds you back, what keeps you stagnant and living in fear. Be as descriptive as you can with this part, really exploring and creating a rich picture of this reality.

What three things do you see to do now, this month, this cycle to take the wisdom you’ve received and put it into action?

With love,

Annie

This is a public episode. We dive into the pitfalls of seeking external validation (certificates, gurus, workshops) and the beauty of rites of passage that nurture self-discovery at your own pace.

Key Themes

🌀 The Labyrinth Path: A metaphor for returning to yourself, dancing with the mystery, and integrating insights into daily life—whether in sacred moments or walking the dogs.

✨ Beyond Validation: Reflecting on the need for certificates or lineages, and how true transformation comes from within, not from external markers.

🦋 Rites of Passage: Moving away from "fast-food" threshold experiences (like quick workshops) toward a nourishing, farm-to-table approach—time to prepare, release, cross thresholds, and digest.

🌿 Community & Creativity: A vision for holding space for others through community and ebooks that weave nature, cooking, the body, senses, and inner work.

Reflections & Questions

- How do you integrate insights from threshold experiences into your daily routine?

- What does a "farm-to-table" approach to personal growth look like for you?

Share your thoughts or experiences with me—in the comments, in a DM or join the Hearth Circle to share in our private community.

Stay tuned for upcoming Rites of Passage that weave creativity, nature, and inner work.

Thanks for joining me on this walk & talk!

With love,

Annie

Links & Resources

- Website: asacredwildlife.com

- Instagram - @asacredwildlife

Join the Hearth Circle

The Hearth Circle is about leaning into embodiment over performance. I’ve shared it below. This song, when I first heard it, really made me notice where I had been embarrassed by or frustrated by different versions of myself- how I’ve done the opposite of honoring the women I have been.

When I saw this photo of me pop up on my phone, it just struck me in a new way, a way more in alignment with this song. What I share in this rant is simply the reflections and thoughts that flowed out of me in response to it.

I hope you’ll give it a listen- both my rant and the song below. She invites you to step beyond the addiction to doing, fixing, or being needed.

This encapsulates what I feel today.

I think I just need to be quiet and create and sing.

Have you ever had one of those days where you just feel overwhelmed with information?

Like you can't even feel what's inside, or hear what's inside?

Because it's all just this jumbled mess.

You feel hollowed out and too full at the same time.

That's how I feel today.

All these things I wanted to do, all this pressure to write and share and speak and create. And yet I feel incapable of really having a clear thought. I just feel so cloudy in my head.

And so a walk in the woods to see two colors, green and blue, with some brown.

Simple.

To feel the breeze. Hear the birds. A deep exhale. And moving out of that cloudy head into the body.

Feeling the cool morning on my skin.

The sun peeking through the trees.

My breath moving in and out of my body.

The smell of the woods, of the trees, of life.

Oh, it's all reminding me of what happens when I get stuck in the head.

Feeling almost severed from my body. Disconnected from life.

I get lost in the clouds of the mind.

It feels good to put my feet on the ground.

And sometimes our plans change. Away from content creation to life creation.

Processing strawberries to freeze. With music on I can sing to. Feeding sourdough. Eating sourdough. Making refried beans for later. Cleaning the house.

Clearing away the cobwebs from both the house and my mind.

My spirit restored.

My cave tended to.

Giving myself what I really need.

A gap.

Sacred time to integrate and rest.

Process. Be. Feel.

Tap into who I am and who I want to be. By being that in the moment.

Right now.

and now… The Podcast :)

In this short and sweet episode, I share a stream of consciousness rant I recorded when I was driving last weekend. In it I weave and explore energies of this new moon in Taurus, the ogham tree Willow, the 24th Gene Key and how all of this comes together to support us living more deeply in alignment with our soul.

It is a little ‘outdated’ as I meant to share it last week but my days were caught up in helping my cat, Mabel, who was giving birth and had some complications- if you’re interested in that story- I shared a couple notes on the Substack app and IG about the experience.

After this morning and what I shared above, I realized this short and sweet episode still feels relevant and valuable.

We will explore how addiction to thinking makes us almost mechanistic and how creating gaps in our day through sacred self time, we invite the visionary, creative mind to come forth.

I hope you find this episode inspires you to find some time this week to notice habitual thoughts looping and invite in a pause to see if you are nurturing the pathways that lead you where you want to go.

With love,

Annie

Join the Hearth Circle

The Hearth Circle is for those longing for embodiment over performance. If this resonates with you, I’d love to welcome you into The Hearth Circle—where we explore themes and ideas I share in my articles and podcasts deeply through in a private space for community, contemplation, creativity, and real-life practice.

🌿 Community & Deep Connection- Monthly Live Calls, exclusive podcast episodes, and a private space to share, reflect and grow.

When you answer the call to the Hearth Circle, you are answering the call of belonging that doesn’t require that you shape-shift. I share a personal dream where I was tasked with gathering stones—dark, light, and polka-dotted—and how these stones came to represent key aspects of personal growth and integration. Through the lens of the Wild Unknown tarot deck, we uncover the medicine carried by these stones, offering insight into the hidden forces, nurturing creation, and the magic of chaotic creativity.

I also discuss the profound connection between dreams, nature, and creative work. Creativity is not just about what we create with our hands, but about how we listen to our inner world and engage with the raw material of life itself. Life is always speaking to us, and through practices like dream journaling, mindful eating, nature walks, and creative time with no agenda, we can tune in and listen to the messages beneath the surface.

Join me as we dive into the wisdom of the stones, the art of creative listening, and how to embrace the subtle messages life is offering us.

Key Themes:

• Dream work and the symbolism of stones in personal growth

• Tarot as a tool for creative exploration

• The power of creativity as a form of dialogue with the unseen

• Practices to invite creative listening into your life

Resources Mentioned:

• Wild Unknown Tarot Deck

• Carl Jung’s quote on nature and dreams

Ways to Cultivate Creative Listening:

1. Trained as a spiritual teacher, I once sought truth in external labels—shaman, witch, priestess. These days I am more devoted to the embodied process of living authentically. Those aspects are still within me as are all the other idiosyncracies that make me, well, me.

Nature is my greatest guide and ally. Its rhythms mirror my own evolution, not as fixed truths but as living wisdom, always unfolding, always guiding me deeper into myself.

I engage with the Celtic Pagan Wheel of the Year as a structure for inner work, creativity, and transformation, exploring the sacred woven into the everyday. Whether through creativity, kitchen alchemy, or simply listening to the land, I share my experience of living consciously in harmony with the natural cycles—learning to trust, to surrender, and to find the magic in the unfolding.

And while I may wax poetic about nature’s rhythms, love to have deep conversations about life and the meaning of it all, I’m also a person who burns the occasional bread, scrolls too much sometimes, and talks to my animals like they may talk back. I can laugh at my wins as well as my inconsistencies. I am a work in progress- just like all of us.

I am the creator of The Alchemy of Bread: Nourish Your Soul With Sourdough, The HearthKeeper Journey and Wild Soul Passages.

This is a public episode. This one is extra special because it weaves together two of my greatest loves—creativity and nourishment. In this episode, we dive into the art of sourdough baking—not just as a way to make delicious bread, but as a pathway to joy, self-connection, and cherishing the sacred in the everyday.

For me, baking was never just about the bread itself, but about slowing down, being present, and co-creating with nature. I talk about how each loaf is like a joyful dance with wild yeast—a reminder that transformation takes time, care, and presence.

Through the alchemy of simple ingredients, we learn about patience, trust, and playfulness, all while nourishing ourselves on a deeper level. I know for many of us, it can be challenging to feel seen and cherished in our busy, chaotic lives. But what if the simple act of baking bread could help you feel just that? Seen by yourself, cherished by the time you spend nurturing something with your own hands. This is where the magic lives.

Some things we explore in this episode:

✨ The process of sourdough: Why it's more than just flour and water—it's an alchemy of transformation.

✨ How baking pulls us into the present moment, offering a joyful space to feel grounded, connected, and nourished.

✨ Life lessons from sourdough: Letting go of control, embracing resilience, and dancing with the unknown.

✨ How to weave sourdough into your spiritual practice with mindfulness and intention.

I also share some stories of my baking journey—the ups, the downs, and the moments where I’ve learned to smile at my “failed” loaves (because even those moments hold a beautiful lesson in patience and self-compassion).

Baking, like life, is an ongoing journey of discovery. As we learn to let go of perfectionism and embrace the joy of the process, we start to feel more connected to ourselves and the sacredness of our everyday actions.

Listen now 👉 Spotify and Apple Podcasts

Show Notes:

In this episode, we cover:

* The Sacred Process of Sourdough Baking: The alchemy of simple ingredients transforming into nourishment.

* Presence in the Kitchen: How the process of baking becomes a joyful meditation.

* Lessons from Sourdough: Patience, playfulness, and letting go of control.

* The Alchemy of Transformation: How baking mirrors our own personal growth.

* How to Weave Sourdough into Your Spiritual Practice: Simple ways to integrate mindful baking into your life.

Remember, every loaf of sourdough you bake is a reminder that transformation takes time, care, and presence. After stepping away from New Age spiritual practices that felt increasingly performative, I began to question what it means to truly live in alignment with the sacred. Through personal reflections, I discuss how rituals, when repeated mindlessly, can become as automatic as habits—void of the magic they promise to bring.

We dive deep into the delicate balance between habits and rituals, how intention can turn the mundane into the mystical, and the importance of embracing life as a series of sacred moments rather than planned performances. I'll also share my own journey from rejecting ritual to rediscovering its transformative potential in unexpected, unplanned moments.

Rituals aren’t about performing spirituality. They're about presence. When we allow life itself to become the ritual, every breath, every pause, holds the potential for sacredness.

Lastly, if you feel ready to dive deeper into these themes, I'm excited to announce that enrollment for Rooted in Truth, my 10-week group journey, is now open. It’s all about commitment—not the kind you’ve heard about in productivity books or self-help workshops, but the deeper, sacred kind that calls us to show up fully in our lives.

I spoke about the 29th Gene Key and its shadow of half-heartedness, which, let’s be honest, we’ve all danced with at some point. You know that feeling when you’re doing something but not truly in it? When you’re holding back, unsure if you’re ready to go all in? We explore what happens when you move out of that half-heartedness and step into the gift of full-hearted commitment.

We also weave in the Aware Ego, which helps us recognize these moments and choose to engage with life from a place of curiosity and wholeness. The invitation is to stop going through the motions and start showing up for every moment, no matter how ordinary it seems. Because, let’s face it, those ordinary moments are where the magic really happens, right?

In this episode, I’ll walk you through:

* The shadow of half-heartedness and how it sneaks into our daily routines

* The liberating power of saying yes to life with full commitment

* How the Aware Ego can help us step back, observe, and choose a new path

* Practical, everyday ways to weave sacredness into our daily actions

It’s a conversation that left me feeling expanded, and I hope that expansion reaches you too. As always, I’m grateful you’re here with me on this journey.

You can listen to the episode right from this newsletter or on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and dive into this beautiful exploration with me. I’d love to hear what resonates for you and how you’re integrating these insights into your own life.

Until next time, stay curious and wild 💚

With love,

Annie

P.S. Why? Because the sphere of social change and ideology is not where I spend much of my time these days. But, it’s formed a big part of my life and my history, my journey - it’s worth devoting these two episodes to. It’s been a cathartic process and a threshold experience for me to gather my thoughts and reflect on my journey to this point and towards the path I walk now. And, honestly, it’s a big part of our lives these days as social beings and I trust that if this is coming up for me, it’s worth sharing.

In this episode, we dive into the complex and controversial topic of how feminism has been co-opted or perhaps always served as an arm of cultural Marxism. We explore the collectivist tactics behind certain comments and the broader cultural movements that aim to dismantle the family structure, shifting the focus from individual empowerment to collective identity. Drawing on Serge Kahili King's principle that "effectiveness is the measure of truth," I question the effectiveness of modern feminism in achieving its original goals of equality, freedom, and individuality.

We discuss how the move towards collective identity has led to psychological fragmentation and a degradation of our spiritual, emotional, and physical health. I argue that the real resistance to cultural Marxism and other forms of collectivism lies in embracing individuality and engaging in psycho-spiritual inner work. By balancing masculine and feminine energies within ourselves through holistic practices and spiritual reflection, we can reclaim our authenticity and challenge the current landscape of cancel culture and victimhood that undermines true empowerment.

You can listen directly from here or from Spotify or Apple Podcasts- A Sacred Wild Life.

Show Notes

Episode Highlights:

- Analysis of the collectivist tactics behind certain comments and broader cultural movements.

- Exploration of how feminism has been influenced by or served as an arm of cultural Marxism.

- Discussion on the campaign to dismantle the family structure and its impact on individual empowerment.

- Examination of the psychological, spiritual, and physical degradation resulting from the shift towards collective identity.

- Serge Kahili King’s principle: "Effectiveness is the measure of truth" and its application to the current state of feminism.

- Critique of modern feminism's effectiveness in achieving its goals of equality, freedom, and individuality.

- The importance of individuality, psycho-spiritual inner work, and balancing masculine and feminine energies as a form of resistance to collectivist ideologies.

- Reflection on the current landscape of cancel culture and collective victimhood and their impact on individual empowerment.

I’d love to hear from you!

- Share your thoughts on this episode in the comments, in the chat, or send me a message.

- Reflect on how these ideas resonate with your own journey and whether they align with your path.

- Join the conversation on how we can reclaim authenticity and resist collectivist ideologies through inner work and spiritual growth.

-Subscribe and like the podcast to help me reach more people who might resonate with my work.

Tune in Next Time:

- Next week, I will dive into a phrase that’s central to my work, ‘weaving the sacred and the everyday’ and what it means to me and how it shows up in how I help others.

With love,

Annie

This is a public episode.
