While it's not a popularity contest, the process of becoming more visible can be compared to many social hierarchies you've already experienced - according to HBR.

But, does visibility culture mean that YOU, the worker have to shout from the rooftops about your accomplishments?

Or maybe, it’s the work that your manager should put in, to make sure your contribution is noted?
