Former British MP Chris Williamson examines the Zionist role in the attack on Venezuela.

In today’s show, we’ll be commemorating General Qasem Soleimani, who was assassinated on 3 January 2020 on the orders of US president, Donald Trump, but his influence lives on.

In our first report Latifa Abouchakra looks back at Soleimani’s life, and the role played by the Zionist entity in his death.

On the third of January 2020 A US reaper drone controlled remotely from a US Air base in Nevada fired three Hellfire missiles at the two vehicle convoy carrying General Qasem Soleimani and the deputy leader of the Iraqi Popular Mobilisation Forces Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and several IRGC officers.

The funerals of Soleimani and al-Muhandis were huge events. Their bodies were taken in procession through Iranian cities Ahvaz and Mashaad before arriving in Tehran where Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei held funeral prayers among hundreds of thousands of mourners.

Soleimani was from a humble background. His father was a farmer. In his early 20s he joined the Revolutionary Guard following the 1979 revolution and fought in the Iran-Iraq war, rising through the ranks. He was appointed commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force in 1998.

The Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq were created in 2014 to defeat ISIL the fore-runner of ISIS. It was composed of almost 40 separate militias which fought in nearly every battle against ISIL.

Soleimani was the mastermind of the defeat of ISIS and the world has cause to be grateful for his strategic and practical contribution.

In Lebanon Soleimani sent military support to Hezbollah to help in the victorious eviction of the Zionist invaders in 2006. He himself was present in Lebanon and was seen as a close comrade by Hezbollah who dubbed him the field commander of the Axis of Resistance.

In Syria he was the main architect of the defence of Syria against the Zionists, the CIA and MI6. He personally briefed Putin prior to the Russian intervention.

By contrast recent footage shows American troops celebrating with ISIS/HTS forces after the fall of Assad.

Though the assassination of Soleimani was ordered by Donald Trump in his first presidency, it is perfectly plain that - as with so much else - he was acting as a Zionist proxy. Trump is said to have been personally involved in luring Soleimani to Baghdad for de-escalation talks.

Months later in a little noticed Hebrew language interview the then recently retired head of Aman, the military intelligence directorate of the occupation forces Maj. Gen. Tamir Heyman, confirmed direct Zionist involvement. Zionist intelligence agencies reportedly passed on intelligence to help the American killing mission. “Assassinating Soleimani was an achievement, since our main enemy, in my eyes, are the Iranians,” Heyman said.

Soleimani’s influence in the region remains strong. Despite the loss of Syria to Zionist hegemony and the damage inflicted to Hezbollah in Lebanon, the spirit of resistance lives in West Asia. In particular, the Palestinian resistance remains undefeated in Gaza despite everything that has been thrown at it by the Zionist genocide.

Palestine Action Hunger Strikers are currently refusing food in British Jails. They are using their own bodies to fight the unjust policies of the British Justice system.

In today’s episode of Palestine Declassified on @presstv we highlight the plight of the Palestine Action hunger strikers, who’ve been unjustly incarcerated now for well over a year, awaiting trial for trying to stop Britain’s complicity in the Gaza genocide.

Their protest is reminiscent of the hunger strike by Irish Republican prisoners in the 1980s, that was led by Bobby Sands, the Officer Commanding Irish Republican prisoners in the H Blocks of the Maze Prison. It was he who famously said “Our revenge will be the laughter of our children.”

And his words are now emblazoned across the separation barrier in the West Bank.

It’s touted as the UK military’s best and brightest, but now the country’s Elite Special Air Service, SAS, is accused by its own members of acting like a death squad in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2013.

An independent inquiry launched by the government in 2022 has released a redacted version of secret testimony given by an SAS member.

The whistleblower, a senior officer known only as N1466, told the inquiry last summer that in one of the SAS’s notorious night raids his colleagues gunned down women and toddlers sleeping under a mosquito net.

The soldier who pulled the trigger received an award, not a court martial.

The senior officer also told the inquiry, which covers just three years in Afghanistan and only this Special Air Service, about a deliberate policy to kill fighting age males, even when they did not pose a threat, dig deeper, and you might see a trend.

They were deployed for a long time in The North of Ireland, were engaged in all sorts of activities there, including many extrajudicial executions.

The most famous one, perhaps, is the one I first came to study in my first ever research article, which was on the killings in Gibraltar in March 1988 in which they executed three unarmed members of the IRA alleged to have been on a bombing mission; but they didn’t have a bomb and they didn’t have arms.

So this is exactly what you would expect from the SAS.

They engage in illegal activities, atrocities, and we will expect them to do more wherever they are deployed, including, of course, they may well be in Gaza.

Under both British and international law, deliberately killing unarmed civilians or prisoners of war is a war crime.

The whistleblower says his warnings were ignored by the chain of command.

The Minister of Defense says it supports the ongoing inquiry, but it turns out the inquiry was forced upon it after increasingly credible reports of cold-blooded murder by SAS soldiers, of planting weapons on innocent civilians and of destroying incriminating evidence.

For years, the war crimes were shrouded in secrecy, but with the new evidence from the eyewitness, that wall of secrecy around the SAS members is fast crumbling.

Elbit Systems is Israel’s largest arms manufacturer. At the end of the 2021, it had 10 sites across the UK and 4 subsidiaries. Today it has only 9 sites across the UK and only 3 subsidiaries.

This is the story of how an activist group, in tandem with the local community courageously stood up and shut down an Elbit Systems arms factory in the British town of Oldham.

From Israel’s drone killing of four Palestinian boys playing football on the beach in 2014, to the apartheid wall in the West Bank which the International Court of Justice has deemed illegal, the fingerprints of Elbit Systems can be found. From the anti migrant infrastructure in Arizona to the Indian Army occupying Kashmir, Elbit Systems profiteers.

UK based activist group, Palestine Action, have launched a relentless campaign to shut down Elbit factories in the country, through direct action. They claim to have carried out almost 100 actions in a year, causing almost £20 million worth of damage to Elbit’s operations. Their defense is that criminal damage to stop war crimes is no offence.

There is yet to be one conviction of Palestine Action activists of any crime in British law. They claim Elbit Systems fears stepping into court with them and having the reality of its operations discussed openly.

Following many months of weekly protests, it became clear that Elbit’s presence in the community was just not tenable. The company not only withdrew from Oldham completely but it sold its toxic brand Ferranti Technology for around £10 million.

The shutting down of Elbit systems in Oldham is what bottom up, community enforced BDS looks like. With Palestine Action continuing their sustained campaign to shut down Elbit Systems arms factories and communities across the country waking up to the enemy within, how much longer can Elbit maintain its presence in the UK.

Israel has launched a three-pronged attack on the British education system. Proxy groups have attempted to edit textbooks, successfully got a lecturer fired, and lastly but most importantly brought anti-BDS groups linked to Israeli espionage services into British classrooms.

Miller discusses the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which he observes is the new antisemitism, as the product of the Zionist regime and has been purposefully designed to “blur the distinction between racism against Jews…and criticism of Israel.” Noting that we are “past the time” for such conflations to be made, Miller rightly indicates how this definition is an ideological construction that exists uniquely to silence criticism of Israel and its many atrocities.

Underscoring how the central cultural references in the West that inform our cultural memory focus upon the horrors of the Holocaust, while rarely, if ever, referring to myriad other genocides, Miller considers how these other genocides have not had the advantage of hasbara that has ensured that only one type of genocide is recorded.

Miller ponders the founding of Israel and the terrorism of the Haganah and other terror gangs, which paradoxically have admitted to rapes and the throwing of young children into ovens, noting how these details of Israel’s historical origins almost eight decades ago, to include the many pogroms committed against Palestinians, mirror and perfectly recycle Israel’s propaganda about Hamas.

Alexander: Welcome back everybody. It’s a Decline and Fall interview special today and I’m very pleased to welcome to the program today David Miller who is, some of you might remember, he won a employment tribunal against his former employer university in this country where Bristol Uni which should we say illegally fired him after a a witch hunting campaign orchestrated by Zionist activists.

And of course his employment tribunal win was very important in terms of defending academic freedom and freedom of speech in this country. And the reason why we got him here today is because of course David is a specialist on tracking the influence of the various different Zionist networks that do operate inside Britain.

And he’s written a very interesting couple of articles recently for Mint Press News regarding the the Zionist networks in Scotland which we’ll come to later on.

But before we go any further, David, welcome to the Decline and Fall Show.

David: Thank you for having me.

Alexander: And of course, joining us as always is our co-host and comrade in the Once and Future Socialist Yugoslavia, Kit Klarenberg. How are you doing today?

Kit: Very well. All the better for seeing David at long last. It’s been a while since we last spoke. David is of course, you know, a fellow terrorist according to British authorities. He and I had an interesting chat at the end of I believe it was the end of last year after you got hauled off a plane having just attended a certain funeral.

David: Yes, that was in February.

Kit: Oh, that was in Feb. Oh, okay. My how my how time flies. But excellent to see you again. Looking dapper as ever. So yeah, Alex, why don’t you uh kick us off, my friend?

Alexander: Well, before we get to David’s recent articles on Zionism in Scotland, I did want to get um his reaction to the latest um I think the best word I can think of is a catastrophuck that’s going on with regard to the new party or what was supposed to be the new party of the left in this country, which is the still rather strangely titled Your Party, which was apparently founded by Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana together who are going to be joint leaders of it. There has been rancour since the start which has recently blown up into a full-scale row nominally about Sultana trying to proceed with signing people’s membership before some agreement have been reached with Corbyn.

But there is much much more to this story than meets the eye. And it goes right the way back into Corbyn’s tenure as Labour Party leader and the the fake anti-semitism scandal that was promoted consciously by networks of Zionists in this country and of course elements in the British state itself. So David, I wanted to ask you first of all does any of this surprise you and what is your analysis as to why it is that a party which seems to have generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst a certain sections of the British left and more widely has been dogged by dispute and scandal before it even got going.

Who was responsible for speaking on behalf of Jeremy Corbyn to say he was "furious and bewildered"?

James Schneider is a close adviser to Jeremy Corbyn, who is shown in this film getting the news about Zahra sultana’s statement on the launch of the new Party live on air. He admits he knows nothing about it.

Minutes later while still on air Schneider appears to be texting on his phone. Shortly thereafter, within an hour of the announcement, Gabriel Pogrund, a Zionist journalist with the Times, "exclusively" posts Jeremy Corbyn’s supposed reaction.

Could this revelation mean trouble for those in Corbyn’s circle who are used to leaking stories to the Murdoch press without consequence?

For example, Gary Lineker, the BBC's popular Match of the Day host, was ousted from his position for speaking out against the genocide in Gaza. That decision was taken at the behest of the Zionist lobby, as Latifa Abouchakra will explain in our first report.

He still seems not to get that.

In this clip he bangs on about "antisemitism" as if there was any real problem of racism against Jews in British society. The main forms of racism in British society - then and now - are state racism and institutionalised racism. These are forms of racism pursued by, and institutionalised in, state actions: notably Islamophobia. And let's not forget that they have been promoted assiduously by the Zionist regime and its racist hench-people in the UK via - amongst others - Neocon think tanks like Policy Exchange and the Henry Jackson Society, the Israel lobby and the Zionists own boy on the streets - Tel-Aviv-Tommy Robinson.

Worse, Corbyn endorses his capitulation to the EHRC investigation. He says that "when the report came out, I welcomed the report. I accepted the report, but I also said two things: One, one anti-Semite in the Labour Party is one too many. And secondly the number of cases of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party was much exaggerated. There was a very, very small number, and that this had been done for political purposes to attack the overall political project that I was following. I believe that and I stand by that statement."

But let's be clear.

1. The EHRC investigation was opened after a campaign by Zionist regime assets and agents including the formally Zionist Jewish Labour Movement, and the Zionist regime agent the Campaign Against Antisemitism and a host of other Zionist bullies. It was not legitimate and should have been rejected by any leader with principles;

2. The investigation itself was nobbled by the fact that the EHRC was infiltrated by Zionists. This was known at the time and I contributed to analysis of this back then.

For example the CEO of the EHRC at the time was Rebecca Hilsenrath. She is a genocidal Zionist who was “co-founder of the Hertsmere Jewish Day School, and then Yavneh College in Hertfordshire”. Both of these schools self describe as ‘Zionist’ or ‘Religious Zionist’.

Worse, her husband Michael was a trustee of a Zionist charity which funded the CAA - one of the complainants. On top of that the chair of the EHRC was also a Zionist: David Isaac. He was associated with a Tory think tank that also published Stephen Pollard's musings on the Corbynites and "antisemitism". Even the Zionist Rebecca Hilsenrath went public on claims that Isaac was not independent.

In addition the EHRC panel of approved counsel included the JLM's Sarah Sackman, (now the Solicitor-General in the genocidal Starmer regime) and Adam Wagner who was instructed by the CAA to present its complaint to the EHRC. (link to full article here)

No equalities and human rights body should have any Zionists appointed to it since they oppose both Equality and Human Rights.

Corbyn could and should have directly attacked the complainants, the EHRC, the report and its findings then. Why on earth will he not do it now?

The investigation was a joke and only managed to accuse two people of alleged and ridiculous offences: Ken Livingstone and Pam Bromley. It's truly disgraceful that even now Corbyn won't come out and defend Ken, an Icon of the left who did more than any other living socialist to embed anti-racism in British society.

But Corbyn - then and still now - insists on throwing Ken under the bus, just as he did with Jackie Walker (@Jackiew80333500) , Chris Williamson (@DerbyChrisW), Marc Wadsworth (@Marcwads) and all the rest.

Sadly, Corbyn is showing no sign at all of learning any lessons from the previous failure.

Even now he could do so.

Your Party needs to declare that it is anti-Zionist, for the Right of Return of all Palestinian refugees, against the "two state" solution, for one state Palestine and for the dismantling of the Zionist colony and decolonisation of Palestine.

The organisation appears to have been infiltrated by Zionists and those who are soft on Zionism and as a result has adopted a policy of freezing out and indeed attacking material anti-Zionists. This has included attacks on, and attempts to undermine, Palestine Action the cutting edge of the anti-Zionist movement.

The other day Ben Jamal, the national director of the UK Palestine Solidarity Campaign, was approached and asked some questions about Ben Soffa the National Secretary of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. In particular these were questions raised by my article on Soffa published recently by Mintpress. This had revealed his contacts with a “former” Israeli spy and involvement as chair of a Synagogue which is a member of the genocidal Zionist Board of Deputies of British Jews. In the course of his responses Jamal made some serious points which have no basis and are in fact untrue. Stills below are from the video of that interview in the street in central London.

Are you Ben Jamal? Are you the leader of Palestine Action?

The full transcript is below, but let’s start with the major falsehood introduced in order to defend the fact that Ben Soffa who states that he is an anti-zionists in fact works closely with Zionists on a Synagogue committee of which he is chair. That Synagogue is a member of the racist and genocidal Board of Deputies. Here is what Ben Jamal had to say:

Q. Is it true there is someone named Ben Soffa in the organisation, he was a member of the Board of Deputies ?

BJ. No, it's not true. He is, there is a man called Ben Soffa. He is not a member of the Board of Deputies. He has never been a member of the Board of Deputies.

Q. Was he part of an organisation that was a member of the Board of Deputies ?

BJ. He is a religious Jew. He’s an anti-Zionist Jew. He is a member of a synagogue. Every synagogue sends people to the Board of Deputies. He is an anti-Zionist Jew. And he doesn't serve on the Board of Deputies. He grew up in a Zionist family. He is an anti-Zionist. And he has always been an anti-Zionist since he became politically active. And has made that abundantly clear. And what is going on, being straight with you, is there are people who should be ashamed of themselves within the movement, who are effectively using the fact that he is Jewish, as a stick to beat him with, and say you should be treated with suspicion. And if we do that, if we say, Jewish anti-Zionists are not welcome in our midst, because they are Jewish, then we are no better than those we are opposing.

Is every British Synagogue in the Board of Deputies?

The first passage that leaps out here is a factual claim that ‘every’ synagogue sends people to the Board of Deputies.

Is that true? Short answer: No.

How many synagogues are there in the UK? The most recent national survey carried out by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research, on behalf of the Board of Deputies, was published in 2017, based on 2016 data. According to its findings there were some 454 Synagogues in the United Kingdom. How many members does the board of Deputies have? According to its website “The Board of Deputies of British Jews is proud to have nearly 200 member synagogues and organisations, covering the geographical, religious and political breadth of British Jewry. Together, our members elect our 300-plus Deputies to represent the priorities of their communities and to work to shape the future of British Jewry.” So we already know that not all Synagogues send people to the Board. We can also tell that some Synagogues send more than one. This is on the basis of the number of people/households in their congregation. The Board says that its membership is made up of Synagogues and “organisations” but how many are there of each? The latest data on this is from 2023 from the website of the Board of Deputies itself, which was subsequently removed from their website. This reveals that of the 202 members listed, some 154 were synagogues. The other 48 were Zionist groups (including most of the worst genocidal Zonist groups like the Community Security Trust, the Jewish National Fund, the Jewish Labour Movement and the Zionist Federation). So, in total around one third of UK Synagogues are members of the Board of Deputies. No anti-Zionist, far less one with a leadership role in the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, should associate with a genocidal organisation like the Board of Deputies.

Even if every synagogue sent people to the Board this would not be a reason to avoid criticism of the Synagogues that do so. Given the genocide, all Synagogues could either disassociate from the BoD or insist that it formally disavows Zionism. These are the only two choices facing them. It is perfectly legitimate to raise the question of conflict of interest which is clearly faced by Ben Soffa in his collaboration with the Zionists. This is so whether he is a “religious Jew” and/or an “anti-Zionist”.

It is frankly disgusting to defend Soffa on the basis that criticism of him consorting with genocidal Zionist groups is based simply on him being “Jewish”. This is precisely the ellision that the Zionists make in their antisemitism scam.

Targeting Jewish schools

Jamal goes on to rant about posts allegedly made on X:

BJ. David Miller is an anti-semite. He is an anti-semite. Look at what he puts out. David Miller has tweeted posts saying, whilst Israel continues to attack Palestinian schools and hospitals, then Jewish schools and hospitals in London are a legitimate target for us. Do you agree with that? Do you think we should ...

Q. Legitimate target as in for political activism or bombing?

BJ. You ask him what he means by that. Because what do you think he means by that?

Q. I think he means to defund them, delegitimize them.

BJ. What, even if they are... so a Jewish school is automatically a target even if it's not Zionist?

Q. No, no, only if they're Zionists.

BJ. So what he's doing is conflating Jewishness and Zionism, and that's anti-Semitic.

Jamal’s interlocutor effectively rebuts Jamal’s question here on the meaning of “targeting” but by this stage Jamal is almost frothing at the mouth, so is unable to adjust his response. As it happens I have written a long investigation of Jewish Schools in the UK and have advocated specifically targeting those which are zionist for - as the interviewer says - defunding and delegitimisation. It is doubtful that Jamal has read this, but he might profitably do so as he will be able to see what arguments I make there which are encapsulated in the title of the article How do we De-Zionise British schools?

The truth is that the Palestine Solidarity Campaign is doing the job of the Zionists for them. Given the questions I have raised about the influence of Zionism on leading figures in the PSC, it is of great concern that the PSC apparently refuses to engage in debate on these matters. Instead Jamal finishes his response by stating: “no one should give him a moment's credibility and engage with his arguments at all. He's a racist.” In my view the PSC should engage properly in this debate which I have entered in order to defend the movement against Zionist infiltration. In doing that I have shown:

* How the PSC has been shilling for the Zionist by attacking Palestine Action;

* The links between the national secretary Ben Soffa and the Zionist movement and even with a ‘“former” Israeli spy;

* Revealed how the PSC’s head of data for three years had previously had associations with both the CIA and with British Intelligence.

More information has since emerged and continues to emerge about the PSC, including in a piece by Asa Winstanley on how the PSC has dropped defenders of Palestine Action as advisers. I am currently working on further research in this area. This national scandal about the governance and politics of the PSC is not going away.

Ben Jamal and Ben Soffa must resign from PSC or be sacked! It's time for Palestine Solidarity Campaign members and branches to root out the Zionists sabotaging the organisation from within.

Dr David Miller, Leigh Evans, Shaykh Asrar Rashid, George Galloway and Lowkey. As Miller stated: 'All of us on this platform have been banned… and that's because we are anti-Zionists.'

What followed was a powerful call for direct action, legal resistance, and the formation of a new anti-Zionist movement - rooted in justice for Palestine and defiance of state repression.

Lt Col John Henry Patterson was a British army officer who was described by Benjamin Netanyahu as the “Godfather” of the Israel Occupation Forces. but who was Patterson? And what does his history tell us about the affinities between settler colonialism in Ireland and in Palestine?

Born in 1867, Lt Col John Henry Patterson, of British settler stock in Ireland, enlisted in the British military at seventeen years of age.

At the age of 31 was posted to Uganda where he is said to have calmed the “superstitious natives” by killing two man-eating lions.

He re-enlisted in the Army to fight in the second Boer war. The British, in pursuit of newly discovered gold deposits, fought Dutch or “Boer” settlers for territory, using scorched earth policies and setting up concentration camps for Dutch settler women and children.

In 1913 Patterson, back in Ireland, joined the Ulster Volunteer Force, an illegal militia set up by Protestant settlers in the north of Ireland to resist decolonization by force of arms.

Viciously anti-Irish, they formed from a milieu which subjected Belfast “a reign of terror”. Night after night the streets are paraded by Orange mobs looking for victims”.

In the 1914-18 war - back in the British Army - Patterson, a convinced Christian Zionist, founded and commanded the “Zion Mule Corps” an all Jewish unit, which was involved in the fighting at Gallipoli.

The unit was then disbanded, but later in 1917, in collaboration with the extremist “revisionist” Zionist, Vladimir Jabotinsky, a so called “Jewish Legion” was formed. It fought the Muslim army of the Ottomans in Jerusalem. This paved the way for the British Mandate and the horrors of the later Zionist military occupation in 1948.

One of the soldiers under Patterson's command was David Green, who later became the first Prime Minister of the Zionist entity under the name David Ben Gurion.

Patterson died in 1947, but in 2014 his remains were reinterred in a grave in Netanya beside the remains of other members of the Jewish legion.

The Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, gave an oration. Patterson was described by Netanyahu as the “Godfather of the Israeli Army”.

Patterson personally knew Netanyahu's father Ben-Zion and was appointed godfather for Netanyahu's brother Jonathan who had been named after Patterson and who died in the Entebbe raid.

Ulster Loyalism and Zionism are ideological twins and John Henry Patterson was a symptom of the close relationship between differing settler colonial projects, united in their racist contempt for the natives and support for ethnic cleansing.

Who is the single most powerful person in the music industry today?

Certainly a contender for the title would be Sir Lucien Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group. In 2019, he was believed to have earned more than £123 million from the role. That was believed to be more than all UK songwriters put together in the same year.

Grainge was pictured happily next to Kanye West in the infamous picture of him donning the Make America Great Again Donald Trump hat. While West got significant backlash for wearing the hat, Grainge received zero scrutiny.

However, close inspection of Grainge and his family members reveals a political orientation.

Universal CEO Lucien Grainge was pictured in November 2016 at a fundraiser for the Israeli occupation forces in Beverley Hills, California.

It is highly unlikely that a man of his prestige would attend such an event without donating.

Grainge is very close friends with former Israeli soldier and prolific Zionist lobbyist Haim Saban. So much so that Grainge recently appointed Saban as a director of Universal Music Group. Over the years, Haim Saban has raised hundreds of millions for the Israeli Occupation Forces and other Israel lobby groups too. Saban also funds the Democrats and has been described as "scripting US President Biden's policy on Israel."

Lucien Grainges wife Caroline Lewis is a trustee of the Bernard Lewis Family Charitable Trust. The family’s assets are held by the Lewis Trust Group, which is controlled by an offshore company registered in the tax haven of the Cayman Islands. The trust has property holdings worth over £1 billion pounds, including 13 hotels in the Zionist entity. Through her role at the trust, the wife of Lucien Grainge, Caroline Lewis, has funded the Zionist Federation, the Mossad-trained Community Security Trust, the Conservative Party, the Islamophobic Henry Jackson Society, and one of Israel's national institutions, the United Jewish Israel Appeal.

Universal Music Group has a huge amount of cultural power; for the highest-ranking figures in the company to have these political connections to the Zionist entity should raise more than eyebrows.

The other figure featured in the infamous Kanye West MAGA hat controversy is Lyor Cohen.

Cohen, described by Mos Def as the "tall Israeli that runs rap," currently sits as the global head of music at Youtube.

Born in New York City to a father by the name of Elisha, who had been part of the Haganeh terrorist group, specifically as part of the Harel Brigade involved in the Plan Dalet campaign to ethnically cleanse Palestine in 1948, As a child, Lyor Cohen spent years living in the Israeli settlement of Kfar Haim, which was named after Haim Arlosoroff, who negotiated with the Nazis in Germany, as was the policy of the Zionist Movement at the time.

Elisha, the father of Lyor, was later employed as security at the Israeli Consulate. At the same time, his mother, Ziva Sirkis, was an assistant to the Israeli Representative at the UN, Abba Eban.

Lyor displayed an industrious attitude. A childhood friend refers to Lyor's running of a lemonade business in stark terms:

"Lyor became like a slave driver."

When asked why he became so deeply involved in hip-hop, Cohen said:

"My mother went to work, and my black nanny, who shared a room with me, always sang me ‘black songs.’”

Lyor was involved with the iconic hip-hop label Def Jam, where he expelled Professor Griff from the political outfit Public Enemy. Among other things, Professor Griff expressed support for the Palestinians. Through his work there, Cohen became a key figure at Universal Music, where he grew very close to Jay-Z, of whom he later remarked, "I would’ve married him; the problem is, he’s a man.”

When Edgar Bronfman Jr., the son of Israel lobbyists and nephew of the founder of Birthright, bought Warner Music, he asked Cohen to work as his right-hand man. While at Warner, Cohen was reported to have blocked the album release of pro-Palestinian artist Lupe Fiasco.

Cohen sits at the helm of the most-viewed video service in the world and is very close friends with Universal Music heads Lucian Grainge and Haim Saban, who are personally invested in Israeli settler colonialism in Palestine.

Within a year of Cohen being appointed to Youtube, Israel lobby group the Anti-Defamation League was selected to be a trusted flagger on the platform

There is a Jewish school in Birmingham, where more than 80% of the pupils are Muslim. At this school the pupils sing Hatikvah - the Israeli national anthem - and celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the Zionist entity each year with Israeli flags. Only 8.85% of the pupils at the school are actually Jewish.

In Glasgow, Calderwood is the only Jewish school in Scotland. It was first set up in 1962 by the Zionist Federation. In 1998 it was reported that “approximately 10 per cent” of the students were not Jewish. By 2017 a sharp decline in the number of Jewish pupils to 52% was reported. This school also celebrates Israeli independence day, including with a “Happy Birthday Israel” banner.

In Liverpool's King David High School as of January 2023, it was reported that only 11% of pupils are Jewish, whilst the majority are Christian or Muslim. Yet the school insists on ramming the racist ideology of Zionism down the throats of all the pupils Jewish and non Jewish alike.

Until the genocide in Gaza hardly anyone even noticed that there were Zionist schools in the UK, never mind said that it was a problem.

But how widespread is the problem of Zionist schools?

There are around 140 Jewish schools in the UK and almost all appear to promote Zionism either openly or - in many ultra orthodox schools - teaching versions of religious Zionism.

The King David Primary in Manchester says explicitly it is a “Zionist school”

The Simon Marks Primary is too. It is “proud” to celebrate the genocidal ethnic cleansing of the Nakba that led to “Israel’s independence”.

JFS in London says it too is “proud” of its “long standing and deep connections to the State of Israel. For over 40 years the school has offered a bespoke residential programme in Israel to provide an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in life in Israel... The JFS programme [in Israel] promotes the values and ethos of JFS including the ideals of Zionist Modern Orthodoxy.”

In October 2023 the school revealed that pupils had been encouraged to write letters to IDF soldiers to support them. And had received thanks in reply. In November 2023 Students had what the school described as “the rare privilege of an audience with Aviv Kochavi, the former General Chief of Staff of the Israel Defence Forces”. This was posted under the headline “IDF the Moral Army”.

There is a serious problem of radicalisation in Jewish schools in Britain. Urgent action needs to be taken to stop the abuse of young school students Jews and non Jews alike, by Zionist schools

The Zionist movement is strongly involved in radicalising Jewish youth. The effort starts early and continues throughout the life of their targets. Primary schools declare that they are “Zionist” and there are even Zionist nursery schools.

But the radicalisation moves up a gear once young Jews reach secondary school. The Zionist movement invests heavily in Jewish schools but also in mainstream schools with significant numbers of Jewish kids on the school roll.

Jewish Activities in Mainstream Schools is the main programme used by the Zionists to infiltrate mainstream schools and radicalise Jewish pupils.

It is run by the largest Zionist fundraising charity in the UK, the United Jewish Israel Appeal the UK branch of one of the four core institutions of the Zionist movement, collectively termed the “National Institutions”. As well as working in Schools the UJIA continues to indoctrinate young Jews in a variety of ways such as funding Youth Movements and the Union of Jewish Students.

They also take thousands of Young Jews on propaganda trips:

We have decades of experience in sending young Jews in the UK to Israel on rite of passage programmes, such as Israel Tour, Gap Years and Birthright Israel. These experiences … are instrumental in strengthening a relationship with Israel.

UJIA runs “Jewish activities” in around 35 English and Scottish schools, mainly in London, Manchester and Glasgow. They create “JSocs” (or Jewish Societies) at these schools. These are a vehicle for radicalisation and indoctrination of Jewish pupils into the Zionist movement. Among the largest JSocs, according to the UJIA, are those at Haberdashers’ School in London. This school provides a hothouse environment for recruiting lifelong Zionist activists, particularly into the racist Zionist youth group Habonim Dror. Amongst alumni from the entertainment industry are: Matt Lucas, Ashley Blaker, Robert Popper, David Baddiel and Sacha Baron-Cohen.

“Jewish activities” sessions can be booked through the UJIA website, with a range of hardline Zionist groups. The inclusion of Zionist regime assets like StandWithUs and the absurd Campaign Against Antisemitism, is an indication of the political orientation. The involvement of Zionist youth groups like Tribe, Noam and Habonim Dror, is a clear signal of the attempt to recruit vulnerable young students to the racist Zionist movement. It is apparent that there are absolutely no non or anti-Zionist Jewish groups and certainly not a single pro-Palestinian group.

This kind of radicalisation and grooming activity must be urgently stopped.

Noam Chomsky is the world’s greatest living intellectual. He has made significant contributions to the field of Linguistics, but its better known for his political contributions and critiques of US foreign policy.

He is known for many books excoriating US imperialism including American Power and the New Mandarins, The Washington Connection and Third World Fascism, Necessary Illusions, Manufacturing Consent, Deterring Democracy and Hegemony or Survival

On Palestine, Chomsky has written widely including the landmark book the The Fateful Triangle: The United States, Israel and the Palestinians published in 1983, more recently On Palestine, written with the British based scholar Ilan Pape.

One of Chomsky’s most important interventions is his 1967: It is The Responsibility of Intellectuals to speak the truth and expose lies. This is surely what Chomsky has tried to do in a seemingly exemplary life of political commitment stretching over more than 70 years.

So when the revelations came about his meetings with the sex trafficker and serial abuser Jeffrey Epstein, it is only natural that questions be asked about what if anything might be the significance of Noam Chomsky meeting with a man who is now widely regarded as being a Mossad asset.

To answer this question we need to look at Chomsky’s overall attitude to the so called state of Israel.

In his youth Chomsky was a Zionist “youth leader”who was “interested in” Hashomer Hatzair the socialist Zionist group that for three years between 1942 and 1945 opposed a Jewish state, though they never allowed Arabs to join their Kibbutzim. Chomsky was already politically conscious in 1942 at the age of fourteen, he was already visiting his uncle in New York who sold a Yiddish language Anarchist paper.

In the 1950s Chomsky and his wife travelled in Israel and lived on the Hashomer Kibbutz Hazorea.

As Chomsky has recalled “They were binationalists… But there was an element of oppression I couldn't get around. If you know the history, you know that most idealistic anti-nationalist settlers insisted on a closed Hebrew society, you can't hire outside [Arab] labor, that sort of thing. You could see the motivation… Nevertheless, there's an exclusionary character to it.”

It can be argued that one result of this experience was that Chomsky never really shed all of his Zionism. So, it is not a surprise to find him remaining a defender of the two state solution and opposing the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement. He is even on record as opposing calls of the right of return of Palestinians expelled by the Zionists – on the grounds it is unrealistic.

Perhaps these views will help to explain how and why Chomsky came to be entangled with a known sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein and came to meet with Epstein’s close contact the former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak?

David Miller is a British sociologist born in 1964, known for his research on propaganda and Islamophobia. He has held academic positions at several universities, including the University of Strathclyde, the University of Bath, and the University of Bristol.

Miller co-founded Public Interest Investigations, a non-profit organization, and has been involved in research on media portrayals, terrorism, and political violence.

His work has sparked both acclaim and controversy, particularly regarding his views on Israel and Jewish student groups, which led to his dismissal from the University of Bristol in 2021.

However, in 2024, an employment tribunal ruled that his dismissal was unfair and discriminatory, recognizing his anti-Zionist beliefs as a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010.

In this interview from 2015 I am talking about the report that we produced and launched at the Understanding Conflict conference in Bath on the Henry Jackson Society. What strikes me in watching it again was how measured and perhaps even naive I appear. I use the word ‘Zionist’ only once and it is clear that I was not at that stage thinking in terms of the concept of the Zionist family foundations which we had discovered were mostly bankrolling the Islamophobic HJS.

Here is the data on which this claim was based.

As you can see 12 of the top 13 British funders are Zionist family foundations. But if you look at the original report we stated only that ‘An examination of this known funding leads to two main conclusions. Firstly, there has been a large overlap between funders of the HJS and other pro-Israel causes in recent years.’ It was only later that we came to look in more depth at these foundations that we came to describe them as Zionist family foundations.

The more research we did on Islamophobia and on the ‘Israel lobby’ the more we realised not only that there was a significant area of research here, but also the political significance of Zionism and indeed of the Zionist movement, a term I have only used for perhaps the last 9-10 years. All the way through this process it has become inexorably more obvious that the Zionist movement is a clear and present danger not only to the Palestinians but to the possibilities of global peace and progress. which is why the ideology must be dismantled

Many people are increasingly aware that Muslims are the targets of racism, but at the same time we see voices that refuse to acknowledge that anti-Muslim racism, also called Islamophobia, exists. These people tend to focus on the fact that Islam is a religion, not a race, and therefore it's not racism.

Whilst it might seem a reasonable argument on the surface, the problem with it is that it's based on the idea that there is such a thing as race, on which racial prejudice is based. In fact, this notion has long been discredited by both natural and social sciences. Separating people by race came from the time of European colonialism. with the idea that Europeans were biologically or culturally superior to non-Europeans.

Though this strand of thinking has never gone away, it has been discredited scientifically. Humanity isn't divided into races. There is one human race and within it there are a diversity of people from different cultural, linguistic, ethnic and religious backgrounds. The key difference which is usually taken to indicate a person's race is the concentration of melanin in one's skin. What makes these differences significant is the political practice of categorizing these groups and assigning advantages or disadvantages to them. It's what we mean when we say race is socially constructed. It's not an objective scientific category. It's made real by racist discrimination and actions.

The state is central.

Many would think that Islamophobia is just the discriminatory attitudes that individual people have, but in reality the state, and specifically the counter-terrorism apparatus, has a much bigger part to play.

Since 2001, the war on terror has seen a ratcheting up of powers available to police and intelligence agencies. In the UK, since 2000, a total of 15 new terrorism acts have been introduced, often concerned with extremism and radicalisation. The extraordinary nature of these measures means that they often bypass the standard legal principles of the criminal justice system.

Muslims are specifically being targeted through legislation, policing, intelligence and surveillance, On top of these, the definitions of radicalisation and extremism are extremely vague, so vague in fact that they can't be defined legally, resulting in practice in even more disproportionate treatment of Muslims.

Take one example, Schedule 7, a really draconian piece of legislation from the Terrorism Act 2000. Schedule 7 is a power which allows border officers to stop and search without any need to justify or explain why. The evidence suggests people who are more likely to be assumed as Muslims are disproportionately targeted under Schedule 7. People of Pakistani ethnicity are over 150 times more likely to be detained under Schedule 7 than white people.

Over the last 20 years, the counter-terrorism apparatus in the UK has spread from its traditional home in the police and intelligence services to occupy almost every part of the public sector. In the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, the PREVENT duty was introduced. The thinking behind PREVENT is the idea that terrorism comes about in the context of extremist ideas and there is some sort of continuum between radical ideas and terrorism. It is a policy that aims to tackle free crime, ideas and activities that are apparently on a path to later becoming a crime.

But it's unclear exactly how someone would determine whether a person is going to go on to commit a crime. The government's definition of extremism is broader than terrorism. It's defined as vocal or active opposition to fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

Schools, universities, nurseries, libraries, the health service and other public institutions are now legally obliged to tackle extremism and radicalisation. This effectively turns school teachers, doctors, nurses and others into untrained counter-terrorism operatives and due to the vague and politically subjective definitions any Muslim into a potential security threat. Just one example of its overreach is a nursery in Brighton which had its Ofsted rating downgraded because they were not doing enough about radicalisation and extremism.

The neoconservative movement.

With the state acting as the backbone to structural Islamophobia, key social movements produce certain Islamophobic ideas, then feed them into government policy and practice. One of these movements, neoconservatism, has been at the center of pushing counter-terrorism policy in ever more authoritarian directions.

We mostly hear about the neocons in the context of the push in the United States to invade Iraq. But while the neocons originate in the US, they've spread their movement internationally, including, notably, to the UK. For example, neoconservative think tanks in the UK influence the change in scope in the second iteration of Prevent, from violent extremism to non-violent extremism. In practice, this expanded the target of Prevent to include environmental campaigners, anti-nuclear activists, anti-war groups, as well as many Muslim groups engaged in peaceful political activity.

To look at the ideology behind the movement, “conditions for Muslims in Europe must be made harder across the board. Europe must look like a less attractive proposition. In the current war the enemy is, as a demographic and political fact, massed not just on foreign shores, but within the gates of our cities.”

Extremism Analysis Unit

The Henry Jackson Society, another neoconservative think tank, produces an annual report on extremist speakers and events on campus, where they name specific organisations and individuals who they claim are extremists. The data compiled is based on dubious research without clear evidence base or appropriate methodologies. The reports often include prominent or politically active Muslims who are critical of government counter-terrorism and foreign policy or PREVENT. It's essentially a smearing operation.

On the 17th of September 2015, days before the prevent duty came into effect, David Cameron, then the Prime Minister, made a speech where he named and shamed a number of universities where he claimed extremist events took place. He also named six speakers as expressing views contrary to British values. According to the government, this information had come from the newly formed Extremism Analysis Unit in the Home Office, a government body that had been set up to monitor and analyse extremism in public institutions. However, it later transpired that the names had come to the Extremism Analysis Unit directly from the Henry Jackson Society.

In fact, the government press release seemed to have been directly copied and pasted from the 2015 Preventing Prevent report by the student wing of the Henry Jackson Society. The neoconservative movement isn't restricted to the US and the UK.

Through feeding into and working with the state institutions and governments across Europe, policies such as PREVENT have become law in many other countries. The UK first introduced a PREVENT policy back in 2003. Following that, similar policies targeting peaceful Muslim groups were introduced across Europe in the Netherlands in 2005, France in 2014, and Spain in 2015.

All these organisations and methods, mainly operating through the counter-terrorism apparatus of the state, are absolutely central to the spread of Islamophobia. They target Muslims and create a suspect community based on vagueness and prejudice when policy is put into practice. This is pushed further in an authoritarian direction and reinforced by neoconservative groups with Islamophobic and pro-imperial agendas that produces and replicates harmful laws and attitudes that undermine rights, freedoms and democracy of Muslims and many other groups.

As the Zionist regime’s genocidal attack on Gaza enters its eleventh month,

the Telegram app continues to serve as a vital medium for those in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and elsewhere to communicate with the world.

Users of the app can quickly share images, videos, and stories from the ground.

Telegram has also been used to leak sensitive Israeli data. Zionist military and intelligence officials have acknowledged that this breach is “the most severe in Israel’s history”, with hackers accessing large amounts of classified information.

All of this has enraged the Zionist regime, particularly since Telegram has been the most resistant platform against censorship, often refusing to take down information at Israel’s request.

So, it is perhaps not surprising that Telegram is now under attack. Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram who lives in the UAE, was arrested in late August by French authorities after his plane landed near Paris.

He was arrested for allegedly refusing to cooperate with law enforcement on moderating the platform for content relating to drug trafficking and child sexual abuse. He was also charged with unlawfully providing cryptography services.

But these charges are unfounded, given Telegram’s own strong policies against such content. The timing of Durov’s arrest is highly suspicious. Indeed, it appears to simply be a pretext to suppress the platform in light of recent demands from the Zionist regime.

In April this year, Durov revealed that he had received pressure from unnamed sources to remove content, but he insisted that Telegram should remain a neutral platform.

Unlike Telegram, other platforms like Google, Meta, and Amazon have routinely removed content critical of Israel.

In fact, those platforms have even been infiltrated by hundreds of former agents of Unit 8200 in the Israel Occupation Forces. The unit is known for conducting cyberwarfare operations and uses blackmail tactics against Palestinians.

Since 7th October last year, Meta alone has removed thousands of posts critical of the Zionist regime.

While companies like Meta employ thousands of moderators to engage in censorship, Telegram employs around 50 people, and only provides a single email address for content moderation issues.

The app is also known for repeatedly refusing to comply with the Zionist regime’s “take-down” requests, even when Durov has been asked directly.

Durov’s arrest appears to be a message to other tech leaders about the consequences of resisting Zionist censorship demands, and an attempt to protect Israel from scrutiny.

Soleimani was one of the key figures in the creation of the Axis of Resistance, a transnational alliance against Zionism and U.S. imperialism. His effectiveness led him to be known as the Shadow Commander amongst his enemies. Yossi Cohen, former director of Israel's foreign intelligence agency Mossad, even said that Soleimani had personally tightened a noose around Israel's neck.
