Their wholeheartedness and energy in everything they do left an impression on me —qualities I wasn't used to finding.

I have never told them this, but she and Nathan are part of a long list of three couples I look up to. I aspire to build a relationship similar to what I saw when I met them—one rooted in foundations of mutual admiration, co-creation, and a deep sense of purpose aligned within each other.

Their recent collaboration, a book titled The Upside Of Uncertainty, was a gift that shaped my present. Alongside with a course I took with them, it has been instrumental in my life. It's not just about understanding uncertainty but also about building transilience and reframing challenges. It's about realizing your potential and becoming comfortable dealing with uncertainty.

Once you become confident in your craft and realize that your impact and outcomes could become more significant than your brain limitations, you can 3x your bets in whatever you do. This has also helped me understand that fear is a mind tool that you have to become in control of.

His husband, Nathan, is an NYT bestseller focused on innovation and has a PhD from Stanford. They are both brilliant personas.

What intrigues me the most about them is how they approach their work. The definition of this approach is rooted in a concept called Earnestness, which they introduced to me. This concept changed the way I engage with my work. They are even doing a project around this concept.

Susannah has a lot to teach. I hope you find as much value in meeting her and listening to this conversation as I did.

Get full access to Personal newsletter at ricardorubio.substack.com/subscribe

Ricardo Rubio Casares

<itunes:author>Ricardo Rubio Casares</itunes:author><itunes:explicit>No</itunes:explicit><itunes:duration>4442</itunes:duration><itunes:image href="https://substackcdn.com/feed/podcast/1006365/post/145311399/880035721da36c6080d1f00d1c5137d8.jpg"/>

RR´s personal talk show I

No tenemos tiempo de hacer un reel de 27 segundos con dibujitos y letras.
